The Festival of Flight is here!
Hey Penguins,
The new festival, the Festival of Flight is up and it is awesome, the best party ever.
Firstly the free items,there are two free items: The first one is the green propeller hat (as I predicted), you can find it at the plaza. The second free item is an actual jet-pack but its only for members (as i predicted) because its in a members only area.
Secondly the decorations,there are loads of cool flying stuff around the island like special super helium balloons, propellers and jet-packs.
Lastly the really cool stuff,The coolest thing is that you could take a balloon ride to the tallest mountain which is a members only room. This is where you will find the free jet-pack and probably could meet Gary.There is also a giant hot air balloon called the island lifter. There is also a cloud maker which you could use to make 5 types of clouds (The migrator, a mullet, puffles, anvil and a rubber duck). And if you go the the iceberg, you can see the entire club penguin in the air. And if you see through the telescope you can see clouds instead of the sea.

New Sand Castle Pin!!

New Clubpenguin times (200th Edition)!!
Hey Penguins,
The new Club Penguin times is put and it is the 200th edition. As always its really great and this time it gives some awesome clues for the upcoming festival of flight. If you go to the page with the party poster you will find a lot of new clues:
1. The brown penguin behind Gary is wearing a green propeller hat. Guess that is going to be one of the free items this time.
2. It says we will be able to have our very own jet packs. Sounds like another free item to me. (Now we only have to figure out which one will be a members item, probably the cooler one: The Jet Pack)
3. There is a small clue suggesting the appearance of Gary the gadget guy in the underground pool fixing windows.
Those are some really great clues, also there is a new pin . Make sure to check back for more updates.

Are you as excited as I am? Festival of Flight starts tomorrow. It's going to be pretty amazing to have Club Penguin floating in the air.
Last week we asked you about your ideas for how you might help Gary lift the island. Lots of cool ideas came in. Here are some from Limeg6 who said:
There is a lot of ways we can help Gary. These are the ways I will be using! First I will blow up balloons with the Super Helium. Next I will use my propeller to lift Club Penguin off the ground! Then I will fill up hot air balloons. I would tie balloons around everything! I will tie a balloon to the Iceberg and everywhere!

The party will go from August 14 - 18 and then on the 20th (Friday) you'll find a brand new, never before seen play at the Stage! It's called Underwater Adventure.... This week, we'd really love to know: If you could write a script for an Underwater Adventure, what would it be about?

Penguins may not be able to fly, but that doesn't mean that Club Penguin can't! In a few days, for the first time ever, Club Penguin will be an island in the sky.
When we first thought of the idea of putting Club Penguin in the sky, we loved it, but then we started asking ourselves some questions. What happens to the Beach or the coastline of the Cove? Can penguins still play Hydro-Hopper? And what does a device powerful enough to lift an entire island even look like, and where would we put it?

The Underwater Adventure is actually a Play!!
Hey Penguins,
Just when we were starting to celebrate having 2 parties, we were informed that the the Underwater Adventure is actually a play.
Wells that's a bit of a bummer but at least we are gonna have the festival of flight.
